How to Take More Clients Without Burning Out
Taking more clients doesn’t always mean exhaustion. Learning effective time management and perfecting you skill will allow for more clients but not the burnout that comes with it.
Streamline Services: Find your niche, perfect that! Providing more than 5 services (pedicures included) can cause service selection fatigue to the client. If you have too much to choose from, it could make it difficult for a client chose something, especially if they are unfamiliar with the services. Eliminate any services that aren’t being booked.
Use Better Tools and Products: using quality tools (implements, e-files, cuticle pushers, cuticle nippers etc.) could play a part in your client retention and cuticle overgrowth. Choosing quality products, whether you’re using acrylic, hard gel, builder/structure gel, polygel they need to be of quality. The quality of the product determines the retention which sets up the reoccuring appointments for your clients. If they are only scheduled once a month, that will free up time for new clients.
Batch Tasks Outside of Client Time: keep your social media postings and interactions until after the close of business. This keeps you on schedule and focused on the client. Take photos, before, during and after but post after your last client of the day.
Buying a quality e-file (doesn’t always have to be name brand) that may have faster RPMs, can cut down on the time it takes for cuticle prep. Perfecting the application of your enhancements, whether gel or acrylic will also cut down on the filing.
